only two word can describe the green day concert which finished like an hour ago.
F*CKING AWESOME.
and i don't mean just f*cking awesome. i mean it was like f*cking awesome to the power of sixty billion and three. yeah.
it was worth falling down in the crowd, it was worth skipping meals, it was worth running like a headless chicken after choir, and it IS worth my red and throbbing swollen feet! f*cking amazing, i cannot empahasize this enough.
green day so generous:
- gave 2 ENCORES, yeah 2 bitches
- free t-shirts to some in the crowd
- let 3 fans go up and share the stage with them
- played for 2 and a half hours
i'd queue for 2 days to go for a concert like that again. geez, i was stenading in the 9th row and i was still so freaking excited. the energy, the songs, the instruments showed great versatility and the impromptu covers showed their for their true musical qualities.
this concert just made my year, i'm pretty damn sure.
