WAY TO GO 2CO :D

i believe we tried our best.
i believe we did this all for our class.
i believe that we did well.
i believe i didn't deserve to get best speaker.

i don't care what anyone says, our class did better than SY and i know it.
no offence to anyone in SY, i mean you guys are awesome but i just didn't think it was fair.
i'm proud of 2CO :D ILY GUYS! so we "lost". but who is to define or determine what losing really means? we won in so many ways. we grew closer and forged bonds within our team, we learnt of our strengths and weaknesses in debate, we helped one another to improve. so what have we lost? the answer is NOTHING. we've gained so much from this experience and i wouldn't have it any other way (even the losing part) ;D
i've been in a team of amazing people and i'm so honoured to have debated with all of you. credits to:
our coaches - amanda and jia hui: your support and guidance shows true class spirit and you took our mess of a team or case and made it awesome. you guys rock my face off.
our timers/supporters - nicole and kelly: you guys always bring the enthu and you've helped with research and cases. i never would've picked any other people to pon cca with xP you ownzx.
our speakers - liyan and rukaya (plus me): you two are seriously talented people. goodness knows why you didn't get into debate. if you guys tried out, you'd be at the top of their list. through stress filled minutes before the debate to your speeches, you guys have carried yourselves so well and you're just freaking FIERCE.
i'm proud to say:
2CO LOST THE INTER-CLASS DEBATE
but we've won so much more than can be represented by a mere trophy.
i'm seriously looking forward to getting the silver trophy cup though. *squee*

i got short hair on sautrday! :O yes i can hear your gasps of shock and horror. but more shock than horror RIGHT? :D yeahhhhhh. i think it's strange but i've gotten good feedback so screw the presses! :D
okay if you all need to know why (everyone's asking me why i cut my hair), i paid $10. and then the hair dresser asked me if i still wanted to tie my hair. and i told her yes. so she said she could only cut one inch. and that SO NOT WORTH IT. so, i got her to chop it (butcher it or whatever you call chopping large amounts of hair off) :D I GOT MY MONEY WORTH FTW.

INTER-CLASS DEBATE PREP FTFW! :D
i think our class' inter-class debate team and coaches totally ROCK MY FACE OFF. ily guys. and i'm gonna miss staying back afterschool on fridays singing and hopping around with you guys ): BEST DEBATE TEAM EVERRRRRRR!
you scared me today. i wish there was something i could do. i wish there was something i could say. i'm glad you're feeling better. ily LOADS (:
then i got a little teary-eyed :/ but it's okay because my buddy's feeling better and that's all that matters :D
i think i'm a public transport jinx. i've had 2 forms of public transport break down on me today. in the morning, the bus broke down on the highway and the bus driver tried to restart the bus like 12 times and it didn't work. so in the end we ended up walking back on the highway after waiting 15 minutes. then when i went out for dinner today with my family, the mrt like had an accidental press of the panic button so we stoned there for 10 minutes -.- JINX I TELL YOU.
had science chemistry SPA yesterday and my hand had some retarded allergic reaction to dunno what chemical. and i was washing it so frantically i ran out of time then i gave up :/ I COULDN'T EVEN SMELL THE AMMONIA MY NOSE WAS BLOCKED! D: i'm innocent INNOCENT I TELL THEE.
and i'm giving free guitar lessons :D all you need is your guitar and you need to be able to stay back on fridays afterschool for about one and a half hours :D I FEEL SO IMPORTANT LOL. playing the jonas brothers and simple plan for amanda, evee and nicole today was fun :D
then during the debate prep some GY-ians came in and so i played for them. hahahaha THIS HOUSE WOULD BAN BEAUTY PAGEANTS. you know why? cos' they have people give crap answers to questions like:
"a recent poll showed that 1/5 of americans cannot locate America on the world map. why do you think this is so?"
"i personally believe that U.S.Americans are unable to do so because uh, some people out there in our nation don't have maps and i believe that our education like such as South Africa and uh the Iraq and like everywhere such as and I believe that they should our education here over in the U.S should help the U.S, should help South Africa and should help the Iraq and the Asian countries so we will be able to build up our future for our children. *grin*"

it's me versus everyone it's your choice you choose.

just watched the dark knight. 2 words. mildly disturbing. the effects were great but somehow i felt something that i never felt after watching any other movie in the cinema. something epic.
the acting was pretty much ace. the fight scenes just left me staring blankly at the screen though. only one moment made me twitch. you guys can go watch it and figure it out for yourselves (: the sound effects team really know how to build tension. seriously at one or two parts you just wanna hide behind your hands but you can't because the movie was just too enthralling.
4.5/5 stars i have to say. i saw little kids in the cinema and felt pretty bad for them. they looked scared. the joker was a haunting character. heath ledgers acting just made me realise how well the joker was played. so convincing. almost disturbing.
the theatre was freezing honestly and i went out shivering and with my teeth chattering and purple, yeah i said it, PURPLE FINGERNAILS. seriously. it must have been 12 degrees in there! D: and then all the girls in the bathroom, how amazingly considerate they are, decided to take like 10 minutes per person. i was cheezed off man! ): times like these made me wish i was a guy, or that junction 8 had bigger toilets :X heeh.

haunting. pretty haunting. but there was a moment of humour. when the joker was cross-dressing as a nurse LOL xD

i'm so tired, i've had enough.

man i overslept again today D: like until 8:30am! i'm such a idiot. i need people to slap me till i wake up in the morning man.
the great jazz pants race -.- hahaha i went home after school at like 4:30pm plus because i was talking to wanqi and then when i was on the bus home nicole asked me where her jazz pants were. and obviously because i overslept i didn't bring them. and she needed them today D: victoria was the one who passed them to me actually :/ so i went home, grabbed them and ran out the door to travel from toa payoh to scgs again. deja vu to the extreme man.
haha it was lame. i'm really tired i think. slept through 2 alarms this morning D: anyone wants to call my house at 6am to wake me in the morning :D hahaha. yay. justine's not replying to my sms. i'm worried.
i'm so tired, i've had enough.
there are so many people that are unhappy about things they don't dare to talk about.

big, big day :D

okay. i had a pretty huge day today! :D
1. i am an elected prefect
2. i almost had choir individual re-auditions today but couldn't due to debate
3. 2CO WON INTER-CLASS DEBATE! ;D
4. amazingly, i got named best speaker (it should have been liyan i swear)
so i was wishing miss chow wouldn't call my name to be a prefect. but she did. so i'm. just gonna come to terms with this. like. yeah. okay. this post is gonna be really short. i'm so lazyyyyyyyyy.
i'm watching ugly betty. IT'S SO AWESOME. i think mark rocks :D and and and i was gonna go for choir re-auditions today but all the people in debate didn't :/ anyways, i didn't even pick my song yet so blah. i have no idea what songs to do! but i hope i do okay during the second session :D i don't really wanna be moved. but my range is quite limited so no big deal i'll stay in soprano 2. yay.
best speaker was so impossible. THERE WAS NO CLASH IN THE DEBATE AGAINST 2GR! they didn't accept ANY points of information for the ENTIRE debate. each speaker is supposed to do at least 1! it was so awkward. but we won so yay. i did it quite informally in the end but got best speaker cos' of content. heeeh. my style FAILS. liyan should've been best speaker i'm telling you. she was so fluent. her style rocked. but i suppose it's cost hers wasn'r formulated on the spot so yeah.
but, what's important is that we won for 2CO! :D this class rocks. i have no idea what ethnic costume to wear tmr D: must find something! (:
kelly was damn happy when she got her shinhwa 9th limited edition white cd today :D i'm glad i could help my deskmateeee. HEEH :D

BOOM!

an explosion of panic in the realisation that:
1. inter-class debate is tomorrow
2. choir re-auditions are tomorrow
3. research for science and ecology summary is due tomorrow
4. the chinese test is tomorrow
5. end-of-years exams are in september
OKAY STRESSED. oh plus this year is streaming. i haven't decided on a song to sing, so hopefully i can skip choir for debate. and OH MY GOODNESS LIKE 2 MORE MONTHS TO EOYS KTHXBAI O: and lang arts play on thursday! ):
okay i need to relax. but seriously. i'm slacking so much and feeling sleeping like half the time. it's really bad. and i can't sleep in class. plus prefect election results are coming out soon. like wednesday maybe? i dunno. blah. but, on the bright side, MCFLY IS OUT IN 6 DAYS! :D :D :D yipee. and evee and amanda are getting me rotation (: YAY. i'm gonna go form my debate case and do science research now. fingers crossed, we'll WIN :D

DEBATEEEEEEE :D

so we spent 3 hours yesterday discussing the interclass debate :D and it got us nowhere. except for the defis and claris hahahaha :D but it was crazy. we were laughing like lunatics in the library project room so the librarian got pissed off. but she went away and we tried to control our noise level. AT LEAST WE TRIED. so yay 2CO interclass debaters rock (:
amanda and jiahui are awesome coaches. and so is avery who helped me out and cover what we took 3 hours (and failed to cover) in 30 mins. amazing. but our class > all :D YAY.
omg i wasted my entire saturday :/ i was just trying to learn piano. and you know what? i'm sticking to guitar ftw. james blunt is an amzing pianist. and he makes he feel like dunking my head into cold water when i try to play his songs with a sign 'jackass' round my neck. guitar ftw! :D
went for a walk in toa payoh park and it's gorgeous there. especially in the evening (: oh i got really pissed last night/ this morning when i was sewing my stupid home ec shirt. I PUT IT ON THE WRONG WAY D: i was like *rips hair out and screams* yeah.

i'm not settling with this motion yet. i pretty much agree with it though (: our class debate team needs to practiseeeee! :D i'm doing research on animal testing right now. and i'm slacking by blogging right now hahaha.
after falling asleep on the couch for an hour, and being abruptly woken up by the sound of kelly calling my handphone, i feel so refreshed! i'm ready to help my class conquer this debate. if any CO-an wants to help us do some research that would be really awesome too! (:
i think i hurt my ankle again though D: i've been running. ran around the track with nicole and justine today in the morning! it was energizing but later into the day it killed me. i was like shouting out answers to my math teacher during last period cos' we couldn't go until we finished the worksheet :/ i just wanted to go homeeeeeeeeeee.

it's just not my day today.

it's so not my day today! i stayed up till 2am last night CRAMMING FOR THE DAMN GEOGRAPHY TEST and i woke up at like 8:30am this morning! GOT TO SCHOOL 1 AND A HALF HOURS LATEEEEE D: dammit. i was so pissed. i was totally angry at myself when i got up in the morning can ): plus my eyes were swollen and red and totally hurt.
and i missed the freaking geog test i crammed so hard for. STUPID STUPID IDIOTIC ME! D: *smacks head* and my phone just died. i'm quite unhappy. it's only 3 years old and it died. the buttons froze and the scroller kept scrolling by itself! ):
but, on the brighter side of things had a jam session with avery today and it was awesomeness. hahaha omg darrel's misuse of a certain word and how he didn't know what 'spazz' meant was freaking funny. we did 'remembering sunday' by all time low, 'check yes juliet' by we the kings, 'with me' by sum 41, 'seven years' by saosin and 'S.O.S' by the jonas brothers hahaha. it was fun. not as awkward/odd as i imagined which is a good thing :D

SHIZZ. utter and complete shizz.

stayed up last night. i mean this morning until 4am. doing geography flash animation. reading the 'Flash for Dummies' manual and the help section of Flash CS3 Professional. it was utter crap.
i only got the frames without the animation done in the wee hours of the morning. and i got up this morning after oversleeping 3 hours. I WOKE UP AT 8AM WTF SO LATE TO STUDY FOR GEOG D: and i got my stupid rain animated off a retarded website. it was painful and like i took 1 hour and 10 layers.
then someone had to go mess up the freaking day for me. okay, i feel kinda bad for saying this but my dad needs planning lessons. he drags the family to do stuff that's convenient for him and inconvenient for everybody else :/ i was freaking out and being super restless in the car cause we were dragged after having lunch at 4pm to wait for him to get a haircut halfway across the island for half an hour. like: O_O.
we waited for him to come home. then we waited for him to leave. then we waited for his friend to pack his stuff from the fullerton hotel. we waited for lunch to come. we waited for him to come out after sending his friend to the airport. we waited for him to cut his hair. i got pretty pissed.
i'm really impatient i know D: BUT I FREAKING HAVE TO STUDY FREAKING GEOGRAPHY! *FOAMS AT MOUTH* anyway, i came home and finished with my animating of corrosion YAY FINALLY.
okay okay off to study geography. just saying, all time low is so awesomely addictive. and justine is super awesome for staying up with me. YAY HER.

GAH. *scream*

AHHHHH STUPID GEOGRAPHY FLASH ANIMATIONNNNNN D:

hi, i am huijun and i am an idiot.
i spent 5 hours downloading flash last night and fell asleep on the floor while doing it.
this evening, when i was trying to access it, a message popped out, saying: error opening file, try downloading flash marcomedia again.
i screamed. it was an uncomfortable experience.
now, i am trying to download flash again but the website is loading at the speed of a wounded snail that has gotten run over by a truck 3 times.
it is making me annoyed. *scream*

went to perform at hwa chong choir concert yesterday with the SC CHOIR! :D the guys were rude (no offense to any hci guy). the guys in charge of our area like the room we were in and stuff were nice and holding doors but the audience was just POOF. when they said 'SCGS Choir!' there was this "EWWWW" from the crowd. but i still feel kind of bad for making fun of the choir guys with my juniors and stuff. LOL. it was funny shizz. and i was super hyper extremely enthu.
then, things took a turn for the worst in a couple of hours :/ i got stomach pains and i had cold sweat and a pale face after that. it was so painful! D: and i still had to walk over the stupid overhead bridge. it sucked quite badly plus the bus ride was living hell. i never wanna climb stairs while having stomach pain ever again. the people sitting around my area were super nice though. very caring. thanks guys (:
anyway, went for the briefing today for inter-class debate and i want to WIN this year. our class needs to be champions of everything because we made that goal at the start of the year :D GO 2CO! i think justine is crazy (:
not sleeping for the entire night is one thing. and having a migrane is another. also, twisting your foot and attempting to walk to the bus stop while having dizzy spells is also two other things. what do they have in common? they are all bad and justine had all of them. plus, she insisted on walking to the bus stop -.-that girl worries me to no end i'm telling you.
we had some group discussion for our twelfth night performance for language arts todayyyyy :D i'm Duke Orsino, perpetual victim of love. and i have the voice to boot hahaha!
say goodbye to the long weekend in exchange for a GEOG WEEKEND. geography flash animation project and cramming for the geograhy test. and the fact that we have to adapt to a new teacher just before the test is another difficulty. I HOPE WE DO OKAY! :D go everyone! cram like the wind.

GAH SCIENCE TEST MADE MY BRAIN THROB. it was so difficult i think the whole level might fail. oh gosh ): the chemical equations totally killed me, considering that i never got around to memorising them. i hope i pass and if i don't, i wouldn't be surprised. heh.
then we had choir and my stupid stupid STUPID cough came back, rendering me speechless for the next few hours after that. *GAG* and then i found out that my awesome deskmate was coming back :D
i did something very rude and i want to make up for it the best i can. i have to.

today!
i got in for the prefect interviews! :O and thus far, my fate as a prefect shall be decided by the school. congrats to the people i know who got in too! (there are plenty BELIEVE ME) heeeh. kelly came back to school today feeling a little nauseous but other than that she was fine and i'm thankful that she's okay (:
WE HAVE A PERFORMANCE AT THE HWA CHONG INSTITUTION CHOIR CONCERT TOMORROW NIGHT. man. hwa chong choir seems weird to me. considering that i didn't sing with them last year like the other current sec twos. oh well (:
