youve got all the friends you need;

prefects camp these past four days and three nights has really changed me as a person. i really feel like i learn something intangible, something i'll keep with me for the rest of my life. and since i have a relatively short attention span, it says alot. here are some of the many things that went well, for me as a person and for the camp in it's entirety:

1. i've improved as a performer and dared to play and sing even infront of the 30 plus people in my bunk, and i could play for the camp showcase and for the PB's practices :D
2. everyone in SCPB bonded alot and got to know each other very well, in terms of character and their funny little habits (:
3. i learn not to put myself down and be sure of myself, and that every prefect has earned a place in the board of their own accord.
4. the facilitators and organisers did very well and i'm sure everyone learnt alot from them about the many aspects of being in the board such as leadership, teamwork, communication, public speaking and taking initiative.
5. everyone loved my SCPB shirt design! yay :D
6. i think everyone learnt that they have to speak out to have their ideas heard and taking initiative is a huge part of being a leader.

we learnt so much more than i can possibly explain in words. i would like to thank everyone for this meaningful experience, with special thanks to:
- investiture music comm: thank you guys for being so inspirational and i really learnt alot in improving as a musician from watching you. i'm glad i had the chance to bond with you guys (: ily!
- SID: thank you for being such an awesome comm! you all did so well for the comm dance and working on orientation and the comm presentation. you were great to bunk with too! we are by far probably the most enthu comm there is and i'm so proud to be a preSIDent :D i love you!
- all sec 2s: you guys were so amazing and i'm so happy that we bonded with one another. i think it was awesome we worked together so quickly to choreograph the mass dance with it looking so fabulous ;D we are so bonded yo :D i love you all!
- ruth lee (my roomie!): thank you so much for coming for campGLOW, i'm sorry i cried i think i should've had more self control. and we really have to go kidnap those leprechauns and get the pot of gold cause it's rightfully ours! you'll always be an awesome SC prefect in our hearts so smile k? :D ily.
- group 3: cooking lunch with you guys was so great even though we over-estimated our appetites! haha. it was such an enjoyable camp cause you guys were so friendly and i'm glad we could become really open with each other and help each other out during discussions :D so thank you and i love you!
- all prefects: i love the board so much now and i would be amazed if i could find enough love for all you guys! we really worked together to keep the spirit of camp up and i think we really are now striving to Make A Difference :D
