one more thing.

i know i've been blogging alot today, but i'm just posting this now because i'm finally starting to understand, no, wrap my head around this.
yesterday wanqi called me at 4pm when i was on the bus with justine. she told me that. that saw loser was going on indefinite haitus. which means they're breaking up. it's hard to not be in denial of this.
they were a local band who made it. they gave me a glimmer of hope that my band would make it. it's just, wow, this is really hard for me to accept you know?
i can't believe this. they were awesome. they still are. i'm going for their last gig. and i'm gonna treasure it forever. take out my saw loser shirt and lay it out on my bed. i'm wishing i'd supported them for longer, i wished i'd loved them for longer.

oh and did i mention, the entirety of 2CO has seen my video cover of check yes juliet (which wanqi posted on youtube)? *explodes*
ran around screaming after kelly (guitar in hand) yesterday. I LEAVE THE CLASS FOR HALF AN HOUR AND THEY DO THIS?! *scream*

FRIDAYYYYYYYYYY :D

this wednesday, thursday and friday were made of PURE AWESOME, especially FRIDAY :D

wednesay
had teachers' day practice, then went with liyan and justine to junction 8 to buy mr ang and miss chow's teachers' day scrapbooks, GOT FORCE-FED CHICKEN -.- but it was seriously funny. HAHAHAH. anyways, you'd have to be there to find it amusing. stood there for 10 minutes having chicken held near my closed mouth -.- LOL.

thursday
had honours day canteen reception duty for prefects with ruth (smalley), siew yun, carolyn and deborah. so we were slacking around for 2 hours, singing, telling lame jokes and goofing off. hahaha. then we had to open the food for the honoured people. and we stared at the food :/ but... we got to go eat the leftovers after that :D lol. sounds lame.
then, headed with jia li, sandy, eunice, carolyn and meiyin to liyan's house to work on the scrapbooks until 9:20pm. it was super fun with all the gluing and cutting and working on the class tiles and coco pops and listening to simple plan :D squee. then we freaked each other out by looking at the creepy reflections that formed in liyan's living room at about 9:15pm. damn creepy. especially when the living room was half-lit. didn't finish the scrapbooks though :/ mostly done, but not totally. it was super fun :D :D :D totally gonna do it again during the hols. YAY.

friday
super eventful, so i'm gonna run through it like this: ACES day, teachers' day performance and sec 4 farewell.

we really BROUGHT IT for ACES day man. i'm really proud of 2CO and i'm would like to give special thanks to gaya for contributing her time and effort so generously (she didn't sleep the night before the dance!), anuria for teaching the class and chloe for helping everybody as well as eunice for being responsible (: also, i want to thank every single person who went for the dance practices and all of 2CO for being ENTHU AND SMILING DURING THE DANCE! :D i'm so lucky to be in such an awesome class. i'm prouder and prouder of you guys everytime you guys pull together in a competition. i love you guys.

teachers' day performance was super funny. i was in the second row, and i was smiling the widest in the entire group AS USUAL and loads of people were staring at me. then during the break from the song (we did 'Everything' by Michael Buble), sadrina screamed: 'HUIJUN!' so loudly. i totally froze, wide-eyed, it was hilarious. roomie, (ruth lee) was next to me and she was like dying to hold her laughter in. LOL. HAHAHA. WTH SADRINA -.- lol. emily and julia were beaming at me, sonia (bitchface :D) too, and loads of the 2CO-ans. it's damn funny. my face was gonna break from the grin. i was trying not to laugh SOOOOOO FREAKING HARD. HAHAA. turned totally red after that :P

sec 4 farewell was really fun. first, straight afterschool, went to justine's house to grab her stuff. had lunch forced on me, then she went to shower while i did homework. eventful. LOL. it was funny though. there was such stillness. her dog max is super smart and adorable :D YAY. i love dogs. anyways, he seemed like such a drifter. then, we headed over to my house to grab my guitar (my lovely ;D) and i got changed, it was such a blur, then we had to get to school already. so yeah. i lent kelly one of my shoes, because our dress code was two differents shoes, one on each foot.

rushed out of the house with justine, hanging my guitar on one arm and holding a black sneaker in the other -.- lol. looked totally retarded, especially with the ribbon from the class dance still on my hairband :D got there late, cause i'm always late, then we practised for our item 3 more times :D

okay the exciting part's getting here :D had lip gloss forced on me, i looked totally tood (darn you kelly and nicole!) but it was funny for a while. me and emily had matching mini pony tails with shiny silver hand ties. LOL. ghey. then we had dinner, then on to the games! we got sorted into groups, i was in group 6 with charissa, estelle, rae and yingli :D GROUP 6 OWNS!

first task was to write a musical called 'My Handsome Lad' in 4 minutes. IT WAS SUPER LAME. we used the melody for the school song and wrote a short skit, with the lad's name being tony. then the second station was at the khoo auditorium stairwell, and we had pictionary, except with songs instead. it was fun :D then the next station was at the third storey toilet and i daresay it was the most amusing. rae was blindfolded and i was volunteered to have her apply makeup on my face -.- hahahaha. awesome-ness. my face ended up having a purple tinge and red lipstick was all over my mouth (i even had it stick me in the teeth! D:), eyebrow pencil was like on my eyelid and there were like 4 different colours of eyeshadow all over my face in squiggles and scribbles hahahaha. damn funny. then we had a catwalk and so there's at least 8 pictures worth of evidence that i was wagging my ass furiously when i was catwalking. LOL. fourth station was 'Don't Forget The Lyrics' and we did how to save a life by the fray, and i ended up messing up the fourth verse with the third so we didn't get a point! D: awww. but we ran to the 'pitstop' first and got first team! ;D :D :D YAY US. GO GROUP 6! :D hahaha. it was super tiring to run around so much though, especially after dinner. stitchhh.

after that, we performed our items and they played the farewell videos. OH GOSH WHEN I SAW MYSELF ACTING I RAN, I JUMPED OUT OF MY SEAT AND CURLED UP INTO A BALL ON THE FLOOR. and a certain shortie decided to lie on top of me -.- and i pretty much couldn't breathe too well, but thank goodness she was pretty light. LOL, for like 3 minutes. LOL. it was super funny. i watched some of it, when i perked up the courage to sit and not hide my face. ROFL. the sec fours then gave their speeches and we had to say goodbye ): it was pretty depressing. WHO AM I KIDDING IT WAS FREAKING DEPRESSING. i tried to cheer everyone up though. with my lame jokes as usual (: i'm glad i could make some of you guys smile :D tearful laughs are better than no laughs at all! :3

it was even harder cause some of the sec 4 seniors i thought never would have known i existed actually had an impression of me and actually knew my name. and also because julia was leaving D: the entire sec two level ended up crying like shizz but i didn't because i couldn't bring myself to. i just couldn't, shared many many MANY hugs, and i'm really gonna miss all the sec fours and julia D: it's really sad.

went to the bus stop with mel luki and justine, ended up getting something *ahem* on my jaw. LOL. then i went on the bus with mel and we talked, then shared our hugs and got off the bus. it's really depressing that i can't take the bus with her much anymore ): to quote mel: eh i cannot take the bus with you anymore now, walao eh.

it's so hard to say goodbye to what we had.

we've shared laughs, we've shared tears, but most of all, we've shared the music. all the best in all you do, you guys are what we aspire to be when we grow up.

okay i'm gonna finish my FTABH review, then i'm gonna post all about friday! :D
#10 - Beware! Cougar!: heavy bass on this track, as shown by TAI... in all of their albums. high energy, it's one of the more alternative tracks on the album due to the pauses and structure of the song (: do you wanna tie me up do you wanna tie me down? go ahead, do it now. so far so good, let it roll let it ride.
#11 - Paper Chase: one of my favourites on the album :D LOVE THE OPENING RIFF :D this song really conveys the high school feelings. anthemic chorus, makes you want to bounce around and sing along! (: the stabs in the verse are really fun! makes you wanna make an escape, like running away from all your school work. graduate, paper chase, we'll get outta this place. and i love the guitar solo in the middle, not the most complex, but it fits in really nicely. GO CHIZ! :D
#12 - One More Weekend: last song of FTABH ): another one of my favourites :D the chorus the pattern of most of the songs in this album, except it sounds a bit harder than the rest. You'll go off, you'll forget, you'll grow out of hanging from the edges, breaking off the past. You'll know when to move on, you'll know when to take all the right chances, never looking back. Somewhere hiding underneath, kicking off covers while you sleep you feel alive (: awesome song to end the album, and makes you wanna just go back to track one and set your player on repeat.

FTABH ;D

imma do a quick review of Fast Times At Barrington High by The Academy Is... now :D cos' it's an awesome it deserves a review. also, GET WELL SOON DESKY! i miss your spazzo-ness.

#1 - About A Girl: calling all pop-rock fans! the academy is... has officially gone pop-rock on this one. super catchy though. absolutely adore this song. especially how william performs it live. the bass line is strong as it usually is in many TAI... songs, strong and heavy (: the muted guitar strums give it a strong beat. very tappable :D WOOHOO. it's a great opener, very high energy (:
#2 - Summer Hair = Forever Young: one thing i love about all the tracks on FTABH is that they open with impactful guitar riffs and this song is no different. victorious chorus after light and deep blending of william's low vocals which he doesn't use so often. william sounds sligthly different on this album i have to say.
#3 - His Girl Friday: LOVE THE BASS ON THIS! sisky bizz did awesome on this one :D anthemic chorus once again, i like how william uses his low voice in this song as well. and the synth fits in really well, and TAI... really is getting synth-pop/power pop. *gasp* not necessarily in horror but kind of shock. i think it's amazing that the butcher recorded all the drum loops for FTABH in 2 days because they are way too epic-sounding to have been recorded in such a short span of time. the butcher is really talented.
#4 - The Test: william's poetry is amazing. unrequited love, the poor boy. anyway, i love the lyrics. especially: you're a stranger i know well, but not at all. i like the blending riffs that eccentuate the vocal line! :D the bridge is rough and stabby and i love the highs and lows of this song.
#5 - Rumoured Nights: i have loved this song since listening to its online preview. one of my personal favourites on this pretty album :D it's very different from the first 5 tracks, taking a deeper and darker view on things. like fine print you were hard to read, blindfolded eyes wide open, staring through me. it's a gorgeous song in terms of the instruments over-lapping and all. the lyrics are just too poetic not to leave you in a state of awe. i think this is the single saddest/most depressive song on the entire album. it's sad but passionate and emotional. never get enough of this song. simply mind-blowing.
#6 - Automatic Eyes: i get a feeling of young lovers in an environment with all the contrasting colours turned up when i listen to this song. it's so crisp and young and new (: the chorus is slightly predictable i must confess but it's predictable in a good way :D staring at the wall above the bed, i can't sleep. with all the secrets that you keep in those automatic eyes. there's a guitar solo in this! MEE LIKEY :D
#7 - Crowded Room: william sounds like he's having a bitch fit at the start of this song. it's so avril hahaa. definitely the hardest/harshest song on the album. it's angry no doubt: this won't take long, you're reign is done. we are the innocent ones, you can't take back the damage done, this is the last time you will shine. it's angry but it's between pretty and angry hahaha. that's how deep TAI... is (:
#8 - Coopertone: once again, the image i get when i listen to 'Automatic Eyes' creeps into my head. it's quite a sad song too. it seems like it's about how perfection just breaks down sometimes. but this charade is never going to last, so pick the poison and pour yourself a glass. this song mentions the main line in the album, "these are the fast times".
#9 - After The Last Midtown Show: i get the feeling that this song is the emotional centerpiece of the entire album. william said that this song was about: "the only girl i ever loved." i'm really emotionally attached to this song i think. it's soft and that makes a statement. he sounds so passionate when he sings this song. almost desperate, obviously very involved in the song. i can totally picture a snow globe with the intro riff of the song strangely enough. 5 minutes and 12 seconds of pure emotion. raw, untapped emotion. i could sob. seriously. highs and lows of this song turn this into a churning listening experience.

baby this is just a fix.

i just finished reading 'The Black Rose Season' (i know, i read REALLY slowly). and the ending left me kind of empty sadly. i ended up crying over ryan's misfortune, and i totally get what wanqi means by how she just wanted to run in and hug ryan. that's really really SAD! D: but it was an awesome story and it's kinda hard not to get carried away. ZOMG I SHALL RE-READ IT AFTER EOYS :D squee face. LOL.
anyways, went out for the movie night at school (not my fault, justine dragged me -.-) yesterday, and it was pretty good. only stayed for '12 storeys' though, had to leave because we had to get dinner and it was late. ended up eating pasta at ten o'clock until we both wanted to throw up. and she tried to force-feed me a freaking brownie man. hahaaha. i have a GBF :D reading this quote from TBRS makes me laugh:
The whole roomful of Sigmas and potential members turn to look at Spencer as I stare at him in horror. When I said he should tell everyone, I didn’t mean this.

FREAKING SQUEE FACE.

:D i'm high. and everyone in my class knows it.
our ACES day dance is going awesome! i can bring the enthu but not the dance skills though :/ will still be doing cartwheels and all though! anything to help :D
hahahaha we played wacko after the ACES day dance practice. double wacko to be exact (: my throat hurts and half the people in my class were like laughing at me hahaha. i was in HYSTERICS.
had the gayest conversation ever with justine on the phone last night. more like 3. cos' she called thrice. this is really amusing. i'm pretty much really high on slash lately. hahahahaha. MUST CHILL. *grabs arm and stops shaking* LOL.
did my 2.4km run today! finally, after my ankle recovered from screwing itself (snigger). anyways, I'M DISAPPOINTED. i increased by one minute from last year ): but i suppose changing from sports to performing arts CCA has its down side. BUT IT'S FINALLY OVER. and i think nicole did great (:

WE'RE CRASHING CARS WE USED TO SHARE.

AHHHH FTABH WAS OUT YESTERDAY :D squee.
and nicole/kelly has not gotten it for me yet! -.- tsk.
my love for slash has been uh... ignited today :D hahaha. it's just too amusing to deny. i felt quite tood sitting in com lab 3 with wanqi reading RYDEN slash afterschool today though haha. 'that freak ross' is seriously sweet and awesome. and zomg 'the black rose season'! :D i want to read the STARBURST ONEEEE wanqi! *whine* hahaha.
some of this slash is pretty old and well, i'm a noob at this so DRAW THE CONCLUSION. been really stressed lately RAWR and it's just been getting horrible and gross. i feel like i'm finally behaving like a prefect. and it's just weird. like "tuck in your shirt", "pin up your fringe". i'm not saying it's a bad thing. it's just such an alien feeling for me. i don't know :/
currently being enthralled by more of 'The Black Rose Season' at the moment. this week has been kinda messy. science was gross. i got a B3 though. FINALLY! AFTER LIKE ONE AND A HALF YEARS :D booyah.
on a more uh. serious note: it's been weird. there's been crying and i don't really think we need this right now. i have no idea how to deal with this. it's awkward very it's not all at the same time. i need to stop thinking.

SUMMER HAIR = FOREVER YOUNG.

Summer Hair = Forever Young by The Academy Is... :D i feel bad for being 4 days late on this but i love this song, and as william beckett said: EVERYTHING LOOKS COOLER IN SLOW MOTION. and i'll have to agree (:

i just love how they look so genuine in this video. i kind of wish they had just one huge video like 'we've got a big mess on our hands'. something crazy and surreal (: but i totally agree with sisky when he said: it's sort something that william has wanted to say for a long time.

it's a change, but it's all for the better (: you can tell just by how he performs the new songs on FTABH, there's a deeper connection there. i can't wait for the album honestly. you and me forever, FOREVER YOUNG.

pfffft whatever.

uneventful saturday! D: went out for a while and just ate until i was totally bloated and walked around clarke quay (ran into a screamo band's performance -.-) and went to plaza singapura for diaso goods.
well, at least we worked out what song we were gonna do for farewell! it's a medley and it's a secret so shhhhhhh (: recently tabbed 'Summer Hair = Forever Young', and by recently i mean last week (: YAY 4 DAYS TO FAST TIMES AT BARRINGTON HIGH (nicole... *hint hint*) :D WOOHOO.
darn gotta study for science :/ imma fail this test as well. need. to. pull. up. grades. must. work. harder. AND MY STUDY TIMETABLE STARTS NEXT WEEK! D: someone shoot me.

drawn to the ones who never yawn.

went for the 30km (except that it really was only 20 - 25km) bike ride at east coast yesterday for health month! :D it was super fun and super tiring. thanks to mariann, chloe, dione, lecin and teen zhen for biking with me! and other random people for bugging me hahaha. YAY FOR BIKING. but my ass really hurts hahaha. took like 3 panadols cos my back and migraine were KILLING ME. the sun didn't help but i'm feeling LOADS better now.
long story short, today, after many experiences, i learnt that: WHEN YOU WEAR THE BADGE, YOU HAVE RESPONSIBILTIES. and i don't think i'm ready for it just yet. it's tough, being constantly judged :/
i realised i haven't been writing any songs recently. am i just losing my insipration?
i drew up a timetable for studying for EOYs on tuesday! yeah i know i'm the most hardworking person you've ever met hahaha. just kidding. starting to study next week (: i hope i do okay.
working on sec four farewell today, got nothing done -.- but me and nicole are gonna write a song/adapt my song and propose it! :D squee. OUR HOME EC BURRITOS > ALL. yay us! (:

WE'RE GONNA DIE IN THIS TOWN.

went out on national day holiday yesterday with justine :D (it was also mr ang's birthday, so HAPPY ~~40TH~~ BIRTHDAY MR ANG! :D) NICOLE MAH LI-LYN AND RUTH SMALLEY were supposed to come but no~ nicole had cousin shizz and ruth needed to 'study for yale' -.- well, me and justine had all the fun SO THERE. *pouts indignantly* LOL. yeah but it really was fun.
went to bishan library, walked up and down TWICE to find a spot to study at -.- but there was no space in the end so we headed to toa payoh library hahaa. i did twelfth night footnotes and justine did her INVERSE PROPORTION math thingy. *cringes at the word 'math'* blah. called nicole and asked her why she wasn't here and i begged her mum for her. totally unexpected.
i was like: NICOLE YOU GET YOUR MOTHER ON THE PHONE RIGHT NOW AND I'LL BEG HER FOR YOU.
then she went to get her mum. that girl is a genius. anyways, despite my AWESOME persuasion skills, mrs mah did not let her go :/ darn. after studying for about 2 and a half hours, headed to the cinema to get tickets for the mummy 3. it was pretty good in my opinion (: and i think justine enjoyed it too. not that justine would know. she spent half the time hiding behind my freakishly broad shoulders hahaha. and squealing. LOL. i should have video-taped it (:
after that, we had dinner at subway and i had to teach justine how to order a sandwich HAHAHA. and how to eat it. and how to drink ice lemon tea. basically, yesterday was a day of learning (: note to self: justine looks super un-glam eating a subway sandwich. LOL.
anyway, then we headed home and i wrote the five letters i owed people until 1am O_O i have no concept of time management. anways, serene gan and justine tried to force feed me milo today. as usual. for justine anyway. but it would seem that serene's better at it. hahaha. you rock luh shortie :D see i'm such a nice person to post this here. YAY ME. (ego shizz).

it's the mess that feels so right (:

FINALLY FINISHED THE LANGUAGE ARTS REVISION BOOKLET. went to sleep at 3am last night, i mean, this morning. darn you twelfth night! D: but i like literature so it wasn't so bad (:
we had national day performance for choir today! i was hopping on one leg for all the jumping songs cause i pulled my leg muscle in my sleep -.- i'm a goof. yeah i know. LOL. then we had a cold reception from the school during the performance after screaming on the field... yeah. but the wait for the harvard din and tonic acapella group was worth it man! they were so charismastic and charming and snazzy :D
they think they're goofy but i'm sure the entire school thinks differently. hahaa. ruth, julia and liting were like: "OMG I LOVE BEING IN CHOIR" when we had a private session with them hahaha. FANGIRLZX. heeh. but they were really nice and stuff. they're like so charming! :D seriously man. sauve to some degree (: we had to perform malay dance for them -.- oh well, i'm sure they enjoyed it but not as much as we enjoyed them. hahaha. kill me in a record shop, i don't care you what you buy just don't you go.
I LOVE BLG'S DEMOS! :D they're really good man. LOL. i bet liting's enjoying herself at the dins' show right now :D coolness. I LOVE HIS GIRL FRIDAY JUST SAYING AND ZOMG 11 DAYS TO FAST TIMES AT BARRINGTON HIGH! :D
hahaha i went to sleep at 2am on wednesday night/thursday morning watching the cab and TAITV lol. CASH: INVENTOR. yeah i'm gonna make it plastic and rubber and little kids are gonna go: HEY MUMMY I WANT THE NOSE CUP! the nose cup. coming to a walmart near you. LOL. cash ftw! :D

I'M HIGH!~

hahaha freaking high today. no idea why. i know i screwed science and all BUT WHO CARES! i think today was pretty fun. i got over the whole brendon thing more now. and i feel kind of better :D
i was laughing uncontrollably man. having my spazz fits again. hahaha then after choir today i was like waving at random people on the bus from the bus stop and screaming 'hi' at miss lai. hahahaha SPAZZ FITS FTW.

THANK YOU.

shoutouts to serene, wanqi and justine and ruth and whoever comforted me and put up with my whining today.
i'm not gonna lie. i'm freaking upset. i wanted to meet brendon pretty damn badly. i could've gone to the airport yesterday morning but i didn't know what to tell my mum.
and it's been 2 and a half years. and 1 entire year of fantasizing brendon. i don't care how disturbing this sounds. i really wanted to meet him. i'd trade my electric guitar for a chance to meet him. that's how serious i feel about this right now.
i just woke up about 2 hours ago after crying myself to sleep for half an hour. i want this so bad. ily wanqi and serene for coming to mandarin oriental with me to look for panic even though you had cca and you already met them. ily you guys loads. i'm lucky to have such awesome friends. even though we didn't meet them. i didn't expect to meet them anyway.
i just wish i could've met them. i wished for alot of things and you can't always get what you want but sometimes you get what you need. i just remembered i was walking around with "PATD" written on my cheek on the train yesterday at like 10pm. hahaa i got loads of funny looks and i just smiled at everyone staring at me. i ebt they were pretty disturbed. LOL.

THIS SUCKS.

singfest yesterday! i thought the bands were great. here's a rundown.
1. Stacie Orrico: THIS GIRL CAN REALLY SING LIVE! it was very good. she was belting out high notes like nobody's business. very friendly (:
2. Jamie Scott and The Town: ZOMG JAMIE SCOTT IS SO CUTE LIVE :D hahaha. his voice was really good. it was hilarious hearing everyone around me complaining that they couldn't understand his accent. i think his accent is too cute to be true and for the record, i could understand him (: like. "this place is really hot isn't it? i just left my water here, and it's been on stage for 5 minutes and it's hot. i'm drinking hot water here!" awww.
3. OneRepublic: wow the energy level was like whoa compared to jamie's gentle acoustics. loved the songs and how they blended 'with or without you' with apologise (: talented musicians every single one of them. ryan on keys and vocals was switching from piano to keyboard to guitar. it was awesome. the entire vibe (:
4. Panic At The Disco: PANIC. AT. THE. FREAKING. DISCO. ZOMFG. YAY. they were so awesome. i was worth getting banged around. brendon was so cool. like in his kanye west shades LOL. ryan was like half-smiling as usual (: and jon's voice was so strong and deep. not really scary. SPENCER WAS SO CUTE WITH HIS FLOWERY DRUMSET! :D brendon was super sweaty but i would've hugged him anyway if i had a chance. he was like: "during the entire song, my pants were like constantly dropping." hahaha the crowd was like: TAKE IT OFFFFFF! and he should've man. LOL. yay. setlist was:
- Pas De Cheval: wonderfully delivered. partying like the wind. i felt that the entire crowd was ignoring spence and jon though. MEANOS.
- But It's Better If You Do: the mic died halfway! brendon was looking so confused and blur. anyways, the crowd sang for him so it was okay. then he swapped mics with ryro so it worked out from there.
- Lying Is The Most Fun A Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off: whoa kay high energy ftw! the music build-up was phenomenal and it was sung wonderfully.
- I Write Sins, Not Tragedies: i loved brendon's acoustic work on this one :D i just love panic luh gosh.
- That Green Gentleman: panic dedicated this to the pussycat dolls hahaha. jon was like: do you think i have a shot with them? brendon: okay let's dedicate the next song to the pussycat dolls and maybe you'll get a shot with them. hahahaha. brendon was super spazz when doing this song hahaha!
- Nine In The Afternoon: brendon going cross-eyed during this song = PRICELESS. i guess staring at bden the hardest for this entire song.
- Camisado: ryro didn't do backups on this like he usually does! D: but jon was awesome on backing. loved this song on the album. loved it live. LOVE IT.
- The Only Difference Between Martyrdom And Suicide Is Press Coverage: when they said they were playing the first track of their first album i was like: MUST GET CAMERA. MUST VIDEO TAPE FOR NICOLE. *FOAMS AT MOUTH*
- There's A Good Reason These Tables Are Numbered Honey, You Just Haven't Thought Of It Yet: yay. i adore this song! the instrumental filling the trumpet parts was priceless. what can i say i love every single song :D the minutes just FLEW BY.
- She's A Handsome Woman: you could totally tell that ryro was enjoying every second of this song. super enthu when he was playing the opening riff!
- Mad As Rabbits: ryro didn't do backing for the entire show and i thoughted he'd do mad as rabbits at least but he didn't D: *pouts* i loved how cute brendon looked when he sang "we must reinvent love" and he had that little heart sign with his hands up in the air. AWWWWW.
panic were awesome performers! and i really wanted to meet them but i couldn't.
5. Jason Mraz: ZOMG THAT MAN IS SUCH A TALENTED SINGER. amazing musician. the only one who opened by singing "come on everybody how you feeling how you feeling tonight" it was so awesome and fun :D a true showman. like the best skatter ever! oh gosh he has like a paper-thin tongue? super flexible (: song i particularly enjoyed were the remedy, i'm yours, the dynamo of volition and BUTTERFLY! :D i was just waiting for him to do i'm yours and butterfly man. butterfly was so HOT. shaking hips. the vibes was incredible. his chord changes were INSANE! i thoroughly enjoyed that performance. in-cre-di-ble!
after the show, i met aisyah, then i met umi and umi was super awesome and brought me to see jamie scott. he was like the only awesome person to stand outside for like an hour to meet fans and take pictures. SUPER NICE :D then i got a panic poster and headed home. YAY. i'll post the pics once i get the stuff onto the com ;D I REALLY WANTED TO MEET PANIC I WAS EMO FOR THE WHOLE OF TODAY. STUPID CRAP D:

CAMPPPPPPPP :D

just woke up a while ago from sleeping on the couch with BLOOD-SHOT EYES. but totally worth it :D i loved the SC prefects' bonding trip to johor! :D it was super fun and awesome. lots of bonding was done (: LEGO GROUP PWNZ!
heeh. so here's a run down of what happened at camp!

day 1:
we set off. and i sat with ruth smalley on the bus :D spazz fits. YAY. then we reached johor! we went for lunch (: the people at my table were super awesomely friendly and niceeeee :3 yay them. anyways, then we headed to the hotel (if memory serves me right). and we assembled at the auditorium for briefing and then we went off to the lawn yard for activities. extremely messy activities. heeh.
the arena! blindfolded girls trying to reach and whack each other = squee. LOL. it was super funny. kiran ended up charging at miss leong hahahaha. then we had fun with water bombs and flour mixed with water bombs. it was SO MESSY. plus we were tied together in threes at the legs which made it harder to run away. heh.
got covered in sticky flour and water! D: but it was AWESOME. hahaha. and gaya took the liberty to apply the flour and water as well as grass onto my arm :P after somemore fun activities with soap and water, we got sent to our rooms and my roomies were the AWESOMEST :D ruth lee and amanda teo! (: it was super fun bunking with them.
then, we went for dinner after a long-deserved bath :D camwhoring all over the restaurant man. haha. then then then we had singing practice! after this super intense reflection session and trust activities. and you yell at me, but it's kinda cute, especially when i don't hand in my homework when it's due :D that lasted until 1am, and we had to get up at 5 plus in the morning so we were sent to bed.
me, ruth and amanda stayed up playing truth or dare and watching TV and other nonsense hahaha. awesome shizz i tell you :D we stayed up until 4am and ended up waking up late the next day :X i took allergy medication to be fair and everyone knows some types are like a brick to the head.

day 2:
okay so the day got off on the wrong foot but it was great all the same. we got up 3 hours late ahahaha serves us right for being enthu! so we had breakfast then we had more reflecting to do. after that we did lunch :D THEN WE WENT SHOPPING. i'm sure that was many people's favourite part. we were singing choral songs on the bus hahaha. hard to be the only sop 2 amongst 2 sop 1s (ruth and kiran) and 2 alto 2s (farisha and ameirah) :P concentration problems manzxz.
hahaha but it was fun and i got dunkin donuts for my family. which weren't that fantastic sadly. ruth smalley got rambutans and dried fruit for her mum haaha. i find the rambutans so amusing.
i was totally gonna go to the music store and test the guitar! but but. i was scared D: and ruth and justine didn't dare to ask for me either. gah. justine got donuts for her family too :D sweeeeeeeeeeeet. then before we knew it we were back in singapore getting a de-brief and the camp was over ): we got our prefect badges and headed home after all the hugs and stuff. and me and joyce were pretty much the only 2 people getting home with all our luggage on the bus. LOW MAINTAINANCE FOR THE WIN! :D we own luh. hahaha.
anyways, all in all. the camp was an amazing experience of self discovery and bonding as well as super awesometasticly fantabulously fun :D heeeh. i just wanna thank like everyone in the entire team and stuff every single person i talked to or smiled at :D
singfest tomorrow! PANIC AT THE DISCO! :D i think i'm gonna fall asleep in the crowd D: oh well, wish me luck! heeh. i have two goals: get people to stop calling me DORAEMON and STITCH. haahaha but freaking amusing man.
