NEW YEAR'S EVE :D

let's look forward to the new year eagerly shall we? :D here are some things to look forward to: some new albums coming out, simple plan #03 (february), mcfly #04 (july 20), panic! at the disco #02 (?) and perhaps the killers #04. now, on to naming the best experiences/things of this year!

- album of the year: infinity on high/modern minds and pastimes/viva la cobra
- band of the year: saw loser! (cos' they were popping up wherever we were)
- class of the year: ONE SERVICE 2007 :D
- concert of the year: singfest/the click five showcase
- dude of the year: danny jones (:
- event of the year: evening by the pond performance
- guitarist of the year: casey calvert of hawthorne heights (rest in peace)
- holiday of the year: NEW ZEALAND 2007 :D
- lead singer of the year: william beckett (cos' he's nice, deal with it)
- miracle of the year: free tickets into live the dream to see the click five
- most anticipated album of the year: won't be soon before long (maroon 5)
- play of the year: shi jie da zhan (WEN ZI :D)
- scandal of the year: joel madden and nicole ritchie's little baby boy matthew
- soft toy of the year: melon/green tea teddy (LOL)
- song of the year: the heart never lies by mcfly (there are loads, but i have to mention mcfly SOMEWHERE on the list)/ umbrella by rihanna (face it. even mcfly covered it. it HAS TO BE popular.)
- stalking experience of the year: meeting simple plan/chasing the click five/saw loser stalking

that just about wraps up the list. more to come next year! secondary two here i come! and of course HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! :D

THIS HOLIDAY WAS AWESOME. MORE AWESOME TAHN YOU'LL EVER BE. HAHAHA. i got a soft toy sheep :D melon! ROCKS. and i saw many mnay sheep and alpaca and cows and horsies and duckies :D :D :D lol. i also suffered from guitar withdrawal symptoms lol. I WAS PLAYING WITH RUBBERBANDS. TELL ME THAT WASN'T DESPERATE. haha. new zealand tour run-through (it may not be totally accurate, i can get mixed up sometimes):

22/23 dec - plane flight, 10 hours, singapore to christchurch. I WATCHED MOVIES TIL MY EYES TURNED RED HAHA.

23 dec - christchurch, we went to the antarctic centre, THERE WERE PENGUINS! :D we went on a wild Hagglund ride over dirt mounts... and then, we went to buy dinner and watch american dad on tv while eating dinner in the hotel room haha. and went to sleep. EXCITING. haha.

24 dec - visited the canterbury museum in christchurch. headed to willow bank to see animals like the kiwi at Westland National Park. headed back into downtown chirstchurch, shopping in town and dinner, and i finally got my new hoodie :D

25 dec - travelling in a coach, going down through the mountains to arthur's pass, went to hokitika for packed lunch and went to see some jade and green stone shops. basically, just sitting in the coach and staring at scenery, getting out every 2 hours for toilet break. BUT IT WAS BEAUTIFUL! :D hah. drove over to thunder creek fall to see the tallest waterfall in new zealand. got to go JET BOATING at goldfields mining centre and gold-panning (we found some gold dust - cool eh?). definitely gonna do that again :D lastly, went over to fox glacier area, and spent a night near that giant chunk of ice. luckily, the heater worked SO WELL that we spent the whole night freezing under the blankets -.- nice christmas dinner though :D

26 dec - we went out to go see the glacier that day, and travelled to queenstown in the coach.

27 dec - milford sound cruise, to view waterfalls in the rain. it was really cold but it was worth standing in the rain and letting the rain hit me like glass pellets. the scene was so beautiful :D and basically the entire day was spenting travelling there. we managed to stop at monkey creek to get some spring water though. it tasted good :D

28 dec - queenstown! fun fun fun :D we went for a skyline gondola ride and then got to go on the LUGE :D fun even though i was crashing alot on my first try :X next, we headed over to take a steam boat ride on the TSS Earnslaw to Walter Peak Farm to get lunch and watch a sheep getting sheared! so cute :D haha. the rest of the day was free and easy, so we went shopping. and consumed chocolate ice cream, watched dad on a canoe ride and hence got really tan. then, dinner at luciano's, THE BEST LAMB EVER :D

29 dec - drove over to arrowtown, one of the sites used in lord of the rings, stopped by mrs. jones' orchard (which we stopped at someday before) and got some boysenberry frozen yoghurt :D then we went to see mount cook, the highest mountain in new zealand. and we saw a collie dog memorial near Lake Tekapo in front of the mountains and the Church of The Good Shepherd. Then we headed to a Salmon farm and got us some sashimi :D drove back into christchurch.

30 dec - departure day/ half-day free and easy. we split up - mum and bro to the electronics store, sis, me and dad to the botanic gardens. we took pictures for an hour. then we headed over to meet up and go for a punting ride down the Avon River. it was cool! DUCKS :D and our guide who was rowing the boat was a young french guy called Antwon from paris. it was cool. then we walked around chirstchurch again and then went to the airport.

NEW ZEALAND WAS FUNNNNNNNN :D i'm gonna go back as soon as i can i'm sure. and next time, i'll bring my guitar lol.

VACATION TIME :D

finally flying off somewhere for holiday! NEW ZEALAND HERE I COME :D YAY. haven't been there since i was small enough to fit into a wheelbarrow and be pushed around. lol. 12 years later, FINALLY GOING TO NZ. homework is still somewhat undone. so that means since i'm coming home really late on the 30th. i'm gonna have to work in the hotel -.- WOW. SOUNDS LIKE FUN. i should have done it earlier i know :/ anyway, at least math and history and most of chinese is out of my hair! not to mention my hair. i look like an anime character. freak accident and the hair dresser cut my fringe too short. oh well, my sis says it's cute and she can't get over how cute it is. haha. cute is not my thing :X lol. anyway, since tomorrow the 23rd of december is harry judd from mcfly's birthday, HAPPY 22ND BIRTHDAY HARRY! second hottest drummer in the world - next to joey that is. haha. MCFLY ROCKSSSSSSSSS :D :D :D and i got viva la cobra and santi yesterday. thanks huiying and monica :D YOU ROCKZZZZZZ (: haha.

MCR CONCERT(: & a few unexpected surprises!

MCR CONCERT YESTERDAY! :D :D :D i remember when monica went to fall out boy. she wore a saw loser shirt and saw loser ended up opening! so, being innocently hopeful as i am, i decided to wear a saw loser shirt in hope that saw loser would show up. and, as me and monica sat down and waited for the concert to start, guess who walks by and sits just one seat away from her. hmmmm. maybe... MASASHI KIMURA FROM SAW LOSER? yeah. omg. omg. omg. hahahaha. i was laughing my ass off. i remembered before the concert, we were like: hey do you think masashi's here? then i was like: totally not. anyway, the crowd's so big we won't be able to find him. and he just sits down. next to us. TELL ME IT'S FATE. lol. out of the 300 odd seats. his ticket. was RIGHT NEXT TO US. it's totally an absolutely HUGE coincidence if it wasn't fate okay. and he just sat there, fake drumming to the song playing on the stereo O_O the mcr concert was pretty okay. it was SO SHORT. gah. one hour and fifteen minutes only! grrrrrrrrr. and we waited for like. forty-five minutes outside. and it started at nine o'clock. HOW STUPID IS THAT?! i mean it was okay. but gerard was using the f word like a punctuation mark. every two minutes. he says it like twice -.- it was rather odd. and the mosh pit designated area was only half-full. and the mosh pit looked kinda dead. by making the mosh pit space so huge, the seats were SO FAR from the band. that's the only bad part i guess. okay, track list, not in order. i can't remember anything haha:

COINCIDENCE AGAIN :D so we walked over to his table where he was sitting with three friends.

GAHHHHHH GO AWAYYYYYYYYY.

AHHHHHHHHHHH I HAVE A COLD AND SORE THROAT. I BET IT'S GONNA BE A FULL FLU SOON. it's the first time this year i've been sick like this ): i feel cruddy. I'M ALLOWED TO GO FOR MCR TOMORROW. BUT IF I CAN'T RECOVER I CAN'T GO! oh the horror. i better get well i tell you. i'm gonna do whatever it takes. i actually went to the doctor. wow. it's been an entire year. and i haven't been to the doctor at all for a cold. i'm gonna get better. I AM I AM I AM. I KNOW MY BODY CAN HEAL. MEDICINE, REST, IT'S GONNA BE OKAY. i hope i get better :/ ifnotmonica'llbeallalonewithmysibs. gah. GO AWAY COLD ): one good thing though, I GOT A BIGGER MEMORY CARD WITH MORE STORAGE SPACE FOR MY PHONE! yay thanks mum (:

I MISS ROOSTER LOADSSSSSSSSSSS D:

I MISS ROOSTER. I MISS THAT GREAT BAND. they disbanded in january. i found out 11 months ago but i'm only feeling the impact now. and now i'm listening to their albums again. i'm getting teary-eyed. i first chanced upon them on channel [V] in 2004. it's been three years. i feel really sad about the whole thing. I WANT ROOSTER BACK. it's the feeling i had when busted disbanded. HORRID HORRID HORRID FEELINGS. i wish rooster were still here. why do great bands die. WHY. i'm sure that many bands will have been inspired and grown through their music (: ROOSTER LIVES ON!
