love.

rhapsodia giubilante was one of the most amazing nights of my life.
i love the choir with my entire heart and i wish i could keep all of you in my life forever.
you're amazing, you're wonderful, you're fantastic.
i wouldn't have wanted to spend my 3 years in choir with any other people.
i'll be taking the music with me wherever i go.
mrs goh is an incredible teacher, and i can't imagine where my standards would be if she hadn't pushed us so hard.
choir, you have to treasure her with everything in you, as well as the amazing teachers in charge we have been blessed with.
sure, you might get frustrated from time to time, but you'll see the results. it'll all be worth it in the end.
SC choir, you were everything to me. you built my confidence, my skill and spirit from the ground up. i can't imagine life without choir and the caring people that make it up. i could cry, but i guess that wouldn't express my gratitude or reluctance to leave fully.

lol. it's been forever!
but there's a couple things that have been on my mind.
drabbles~
1) i like friendships that do not stress me out :D
2) i dislike drama (eg. cliques, politics etc) :(
3) good friends don't force you to bend to their wishes, they love you as they are.
4) sometimes, things get personal. then your claws come out :D
5) i should always go for a 2 hour walk in the park after having hyperventilation inducing stress related breakdowns, the park is pretty and i like the silence.
6) over every hill is a patch of green grass (:
7) i heart PARACHUTE (the band, awesomenessss).
8) i love my juniors, and my choir mates because they don't hesitate love me back (:

can you the sound of hysteria?

only two word can describe the green day concert which finished like an hour ago.

F*CKING AWESOME.

and i don't mean just f*cking awesome. i mean it was like f*cking awesome to the power of sixty billion and three. yeah.
it was worth falling down in the crowd, it was worth skipping meals, it was worth running like a headless chicken after choir, and it IS worth my red and throbbing swollen feet! f*cking amazing, i cannot empahasize this enough.

green day so generous:
- gave 2 ENCORES, yeah 2 bitches
- free t-shirts to some in the crowd
- let 3 fans go up and share the stage with them
- played for 2 and a half hours

i'd queue for 2 days to go for a concert like that again. geez, i was stenading in the 9th row and i was still so freaking excited. the energy, the songs, the instruments showed great versatility and the impromptu covers showed their for their true musical qualities.

this concert just made my year, i'm pretty damn sure.

gloss.

observation made today: DARREL CHANG'S HOUSE IS TOO FAR FROM HUMAN LIFE.
took me 1 and a half hours to get there, took me the same time to get back!
but aurora lights is sounding good (:

i have a crapload of homework left, and since i love doing my humanities, i have no humanities left to soften the blow of all the crappy math and science ):

AND I FREAKING NEEDDDDDDDD PEOPLE TO PROMOTE MY YOUTUBE, BUT NO ONE IS PROMOTING );

edit: something inside me is calling, and i feel like i don't want to forget anything about my past. it's like i've fought it for so long but i think i have to admit that it was pretty much unforgettable. it'll always be my first, even when i'm looking back from my last. i always hear the same thing. it's the mistakes we've made that make us who we are, and it's the past that influences the future. i'm making my own future, but now that i look back at the past, it really wasn't that bad. in fact, i'm beginning to think it was worth it to suffer in the end, because it was just that unforgettable when it was good.

taiwan was awesome, pretty much (: came back on the 14th!
nice and cool, but not very winter-y.
got lots of cakes and such, took 500 pictures for art and fun :D
bumped into rainie yang, got loads of same cute things like a collection of rocks labeled: ROCK CONCERT.
and i've finally cured my blues, for reals manzxz :D
feeling revitalised!

let yourself dream.

ever get that feeling when your heart just beats faster and you feel your hands tingling and you just can't think of anything but doing that one thing you feel is just what you've been put on earth to do?
lately it's like whenever i watch a live video of a performance, i'm just itching to do something like that. i want to play in front of random people that i don't know, i want to tell my stories in the form of lyrics. i want to hold my guitar in my hands every day of my life.
i want to play music for a living, seriously.

but i could never make it. i'm not talented enough, i'm not beautiful enough. it's really such a shame.

i love my friends.

and i thank ann and liyan for making my wednesday-thursday absolutely wonderful :D (even if we did fall asleep at 5:15am)

tell me i'm a wreck.

today was really interesting :D i wasn't really myself today. i think it's either not being able to fall asleep or just being perpetually giggly today but, yeah. here's a series of interesting (okay, maybe not that interesting) events that occurred today!

1) got on the bus this morning to head to choir, guy from JC smiled at me. it was weird, and i totally thought that i had something on my face lol. but i smiled back, strangely enough.
2) went out to go guitar shopping with calista, smiled at the salesman who remembered me from last time. it was weird, because i totally don't do shizz like that!
3) headed to maestro guitar with calista, and talked to the sales guy for about 20 mins. talked about guitars and the weather, which was kinda strange considering i was hiding behind my mum the first time i went to get my guitar there. told him to get well soon and bid him farewell.
4) went for dinner at United Square. ran to look at a skunk soft toy in watson's, and i totally blurted out "Ooooh is this a skunk?" to a random lady beside me and started stroking the toy. this made the lady go "Yeah, it is. Cute right?" Then she smiled at me like i was a five-year-old.

LMAO.
